The aim of this project was to unify the artisan and traditional essence of the brand with a youthful and modern aesthetic.
A house becomes a home when the person who lives in it, overturns his personality, managing to create his space of peace, security and tranquility. This space ceases to be a cold place and starts to tell us about the person who lives there, their interests, hobbies and lifestyle. With this reflection, we launched the challenge of creating furniture for Loewe, a firm of material quality and design, in order to expand the brand experience and get closer to its target audience.
We wanted the product to be closeness, community and friendship. A product that encourages communication, that tells us about the user and that manages to create a material and sentimental experience in a meeting moment.

After evaluating the proposals created, the selected design was the "Equis" stool. Using the characteristic elements of the brand, it manages to create a material experience around its assembly and use, its reduced dimensions encourage interaction with the user, allowing it to adapt to different situations and environments, a surface to communicate and decorate, an extra seat so that no one is left without a place and can enjoy the company.

Sustainability :
- Production: handcrafted, two materials.
- Distribution: small dimensions, compact packaging.
- Use and end of life: independence of parts from each other, easy replacement and repair.
The piece consists of two pieces of wood joined together by means of a half-timbered assembly.
Functionality is the strong point of this product. Its reduced dimensions allow it to adapt to different rooms and situations, thus encouraging interaction with the user.
Equis is made from three diferent materials: wood, leather and steel. As it lacks screws, its assembly is easy and intuitive. The user receives the product disassembled, which allows to create a user experience around the material quality and the assembly.
The dimensions of the piece allow a simple distribution, being distributed in a packaging of small dimensions, facilitating the displacement. The selected materials allow an easy adaptation of the product to the aesthetics of the brand.
